What the Ethics and Professionalism modules cover
The Singapore CA Qualification Professional Programme includes Ethics and Professionalism modules, EP 100 and EP 200, delivered by ISCA as e-learning. They cover the professional conduct and ethical standards expected of a Singapore chartered accountant, including responsibilities around anti-money laundering. There is no examination for these modules, but you must complete them before attempting the Integrative Business Solutions capstone.
Ethics in the Professional Programme exams
Ethics does not stay in the e-learning. Ethical issues appear in the case-based technical exams, especially Assurance, and in the capstone. Good answers identify the specific threat, explain which principle is at risk, and recommend a clear action.
How TutorPOD helps
Paul William, founder of TutorPOD, holds the Singapore CA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications. In our Professional Programme classes, he shows how to apply ethical principles to exam cases and write answers that earn the marks. The e-learning modules themselves are completed on ISCA's platform.
