How the Singapore CA Qualification works
The Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ) is run by ISCA. Its Professional Programme has four technical modules, a capstone and Ethics and Professionalism modules:
Exams are remote-proctored e-examinations held in June and December, and the pass mark is 50%.
Entry and experience
Entry is based on your degree. Graduates with a direct-entry accountancy degree from a listed Singapore university can join the Professional Programme directly, while other accredited or recognised degrees need the Foundation Programme first. You also need to work with an Accredited Training Organisation and build at least three years of relevant experience, including at least 450 working days with the ATO. Check ISCA's website for the full rules.
How TutorPOD teaches the Singapore CA Qualification
Classes are led by Paul William, founder of TutorPOD, who holds the Singapore CA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications. Lessons apply each standard and rule to realistic cases, then build up to timed practice in the e-exam format, with personalised feedback on your written answers. Classes run live online on Zoom, Google Meet or PodCall, or in person at our Tampines and Waterloo centres, in small groups or 1-to-1.
