How the ACCA qualification works
The ACCA Qualification has 13 exams in three levels, plus an online Ethics and Professional Skills module and 36 months of relevant work experience.
Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams are sat in four sessions a year, in March, June, September and December. See ACCA exam dates for upcoming sessions and entry deadlines.
ACCA in Singapore
Students in Singapore sit the Singapore variants of the law and tax papers: LW-SGP, TX-SGP and, if you choose it, ATX-SGP. These test Singapore law and tax instead of UK rules. Many local and overseas degrees also give exemptions from some ACCA papers, so check yours before you plan your route.
Changes from 2027
ACCA is moving to a new qualification structure. June 2027 is the final sitting of the current Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams. New Knowledge level exams are available on demand from July 2027, and the first Expertise and Strategic Professional exams are sat in September 2027. The new Singapore variant exams are first sat in December 2027. Passes you already hold carry across under ACCA's transition arrangements, and the ACCA Transition Tool shows how yours map. If you are part-way through ACCA, ask us how to plan your remaining papers.
How TutorPOD teaches ACCA
All ACCA classes are led by Paul William, founder of TutorPOD, who holds ACCA, CIMA and CA Singapore qualifications. Lessons combine clear explanation with real-time problem solving on exam-style questions, so you learn both the technical content and how to earn the marks. You get structured notes, timed mock exams and personalised feedback, with classes live online on Zoom, Google Meet or PodCall, or in person at our Tampines and Waterloo centres, in small groups or 1-to-1.
